Hey, my name is Emma and I am a children’s book author and the creator of Lightbulb Books. I live in Bath with my three gorgeous children, my wonderful husband and a whole load of tea bags and digestive biscuits - only the dark chocolate ones though…
Alongside my bestie, Georgina, who happens to be a superb illustrator, we have published 5 Christian children’s books in the last 3 and a half years and have no plans to stop soon. We love creating books that show kids just how fantastic and fun God is and tell them how much He loves them.

I offer FREE UK delivery on all 2nd class orders with 1st class postage being a little extra.
There is also the option to post worldwide so there is no limit to who can receive them. For all UK orders, my last day of posting will be Wednesday 18th Dec. For all international mail I suggest you allow 1 month for post to arrive. All orders are processed within 1-3 business days.

Our gorgeous baby book, Perfect, shares a beautiful message about how we are perfectly made and loved by God. It is a chunky, sturdy board book that can be handled and chewed by babies and still thrive and remain beautiful.
You Are Loved was the second book published and currently our number one seller! It will take you on adventures through space, under the sea and through jungles and teaches us that God’s love is always with us. Especially great for 2 - 6 year olds.
If you’re looking for a slightly bigger present then our children’s Trilogy is the gift for you. Grab You Are Loved alongside our two other books A Little Town Called Hope and A Seed of Faith which are ideal for 3 - 7 year olds. Georgina has also designed some stunning prints to go alongside these books, great for decorating a child’s bedroom. These can be added to the set or bought individually.
A Little Town Called Hope is our award winning book and is all about our emotions. Join Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Joy as they move to the beautiful town of Hope, explore their feelings and learn how Jesus’s hope gives them power and purpose.
A Seed of Faith is book number three and the one that completed our Faith, Hope and Love children’s series. On its own or as a set, it is lovely! This is a wonderful story about a Seed who dreams big! Meet a brave Seed, some friendly Lions, and other very cheeky animals as they discover what faith is all about.
Our most recently published book, and probably my favourite is The Bear and the Colour Thief. It is a magical, powerful story about friendship, forgiveness and the joy of letting go. Dive into this enchanting tale and see how forgiveness can make everything colourful again! A perfect book for 4 - 8 year olds and a lovely tool to aid conversations about forgiving and restoring relationships.
