We currently collect and process the following information:
Your email address when you sign up to receive our newsletter, or information on when applications open.
Any information you use to complete our application form: your name, email address, address, business name, website address, phone number, social media handles
How we get the information and why we have it
The information we hold is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
You have signed up to receive our newsletter
You have filled out our application form
Successful application information will be shared with our individual fair hosts, and the venues.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting thechristianchristmascraftfair@gmail.com.
(b) We have a contractual obligation.
How we store your personal data
Your information is securely stored.
Email addresses signed up to our newsletter will be signed up for as long as you are subscribed, you may choose to unsubscribe at any time.
Application information
If your application is unsuccessful, your personal data will be deleted after we have informed you of the outcome.
If your application is successful, your personal data will be stored on a password-protected Google Sheet for one year after the event.
If your application is successful we will pass your name, business name and link to your website shop to specific 3rd party organisations: namely fair venues and potentially local press organisations to help promote the event.
We WILL NOT sell your data or pass it on to any other organisation not already mentioned above.
We use Google Drive to store your information in a Password Protected folder.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
