We are partnering with hosts across the UK this year to bring even more fairs to life! We’re looking for dedicated people with a passion for small business.

Do you have a church/venue in mind? Is there already a community of like-minded makers? Would you like more info on what’s involved?

host with us

your perks:

  • Save yourself £20-30 and lockdown your favourite location for the day of the fair.

  • We *know* exposure don’t pay those bills, BUT becoming a host does come with a lot of promo ooomph! From social media spotlights, to SEO backlinks to your website and a boost of TCCF marketing magic.

  • Our commitment to our hosts is that you’ll receive oodles of support as you step out and step up! From pre-made graphics, email templates, and advice, to centrally managed funds, application processes, and tricky customer service dealt with!

We want to make sure our hosts get all the fun and perks without the stress (because you don’t need to work out where to put stall fees on your tax return, oh I’ve been there 👀)

  • As we step out onto new ground, we really value your input! It’s up to you how hands on your are with the application process/planning, but we see this as a completely collaborative process. Whether that’s in choosing our theme for the year, ideas for promo and fundraising, and especially how we can build on this year-on-year.

  • Whether it’s a festive cafe, raffle or pin the tail on the Little Donkey (ok that might be a terrible idea!) You and your church get to help us choose where cafe profits go!

  • Once you’ve been a host, you’ll have priority for hosting (or for just selling if you want to put your feet up!) for the following years’ events.

your responsibilities:

  • Managing connections on a local level is super important! You’re our feet and eyes on the ground, keeping on top of things like securing a venue, counting how many tables are available and what will fit in the space, knowing info like parking and accessibility etc.

Connecting with your own church is such a great option for hosting one of our pop-up fairs, and there are lots of perks for them too (we’ve even got template emails you can use) - definitely worth a chat with your pastor/vicar/leadership team! AND they usually have hospitality teams in place too for Christmas cafes.

  • Decorating the space has been a big part of our fairs, it’s a great way of creating a cosy, non-threatening atmosphere that’s full of Christmas spirit. You’ll have free reign over your own decorating budget, whether you get super crafty or opt for some bulk decorations, fairy lights are a must!

  • Nothing beats word of mouth! We have a centrally-managed advertising budget to coordinate both printed and online ads, but being able to spread the word on a local level is invaluable!

We encourage connecting with local church networks, community groups, and engaging with local social media groups to help spread the news!

  • Today’s the day! Get to the venue early, welcome sellers and iron out any last-minute issues (it’s usually wi-fi!) before settling in for a day of festive fun.
